Now it’s time to find the right person to support you on your journey.

  • Are your “pregnancy concierges,” a consistent person to talk to during your pregnancy (via text, phone or email)

  • Create a calm and peaceful environment for labor

  • Give you a birth preferences template, and help you put your birth preferences into a user-friendly format for your care team. This includes access to Motherboard Birth, digital birth preferences app

  • Share vetted resources and referrals when appropriate (massage, nutrition, pediatric ENTs, NICU support, pediatricians, new parent support groups, IVF support groups, pelvic floor recovery, etc)

  • Help you share your preferences, questions and concerns to your care team before and during labor

  • Provide physical support in labor (e.g. comfort touch, counter pressure, guided breathing) per your preferences

  • Provide emotional support to alleviate uncertainty, affirm feelings, encourage you to ask questions when they arise

  • Provide the information you need (like evidence-based explanations of labor stages, medicated and non-medicated pain relief options and interventions) so that you can make informed decisions
